Le Marche is a region bounded in the west by the Apennine Mountains and in the east by the Adriatic Sea. It stretches from Pesaro in the north - near to San Marino - to San Benedetto del Tronto in the south.

| San Ginesio is some 30 Km south of Macerata, the provincial town, and about 100 Km south-west of Ancona airport. If you've visited Tuscany or Umbria, the landscape will seem familiar to you: walled towns and villages perched atop hills as far as the eye can see; vineyards and fields of sunflowers. In addition, though, the area has the bonus of the Appenine mountains - known locally as the Sibillini. |
